The LCMCS staff has established a Weiler Family Fund in memory of Fred and in support of our friend and colleague, Dayna. Fred and Dayna, along with their four children, Quade, Zane, Scottie and Townsend, moved from Alaska to Damascus in 2014 to expand the LCMCS MAC program.
Fred held classes at the school and on the family farm for LCMCS adolescent students. He was a driving force behind the establishment of the senior food program, senior lunches, free food pantry, community dinners, MAC fundraisers and annual student expeditions.
A friend to all, Fred embodied boundless humor, energy and life. He would lend a hand or a tool or his tractor to anyone who needed it, even if he was already helping someone else – and chances are he was. The Weiler Family currently resides in Estacada on their beloved farm.
Please use the form below to make a donation in memory of Fred and in support of the Weiler Family. You may also leave a note below, which will be forwarded to Dayna and her family at an appropriate time.
