As an alternative education model, LCMCS is allowed flexibility in curriculum and program design as set forth in the Charter Agreement (Section 8.1.1) with Gresham-Barlow School District. Accordingly, LCMCS may independently implement curricula, learning environments and learning methods aligned with the Montessori Education Model as long as it meets the state academic content standards.
