The LCMCS Board of Directors have been asked by staff and the community to consider renaming the school to match our values as a school and our place in the community. The Board is responsible for developing and implementing a process to present a recommendation for approval. This process will include representation from the occupants of the school, the immediate neighborhood(s), and the broader community. The Board of Directors sub-committee will work to engage groups and stakeholders to receive their feedback as to the rationale and direction for a future school name.
