Greetings LCMCS Families from the Lego Club. We want you to know a group of our students are exhibiting their creations this weekend at the Bricks Cascade Lego Expo at the Convention Center in Portland. At this internationally recognized event, our LCMCS booth will showcase our large Lego city (4 feet by 8 feet), which we use to produce and shoot stop motion videos, the running of our 3 EV3 Lego robots, and displaying our MOC’s (my own creations).
We invite all you to come and see what our students have created from 10am-4pm on February 29th and March 1st. This family friendly event has opportunities for the public to build, plan and check out cool Lego creations. Tickets are available online at http://www.brickscascade.com/ or at the door.
We’re raising funds to enter robotic competitions this spring and next fall and to provide more LEGO building pieces and elements for our students to get creative with. You can support us by making a tax deductible donation to our GoFundMe campaign. https://charity.gofundme.com/o/en/campaign/lewis-and-clark-montessori-charter-school-lego-robotics-fundraiser
Thanks to all of you and we hope to see many of you, your families and friends this weekend
