Bekah Rattaro - Our Staff

Bekah grew up in the Columbia River Gorge at Menucha Retreat and Conference center where her family worked. She grew up in and out of the kitchen as a young person getting cookies from the cooks then getting wrangled into washing dishes and soon became the kitchen manager. After graduating from Corbett High School she decided to broaden her horizons and started to travel as a cook. First to Alaska, then to Ohio, More time in Alaska, Utah and more Alaska! After finally leaving Alaska, Bekah and her husband drove across the country to Rhode Island to help their friend and coworker open her first restaurant, the Shanty.  Starting a family meant moving back to Oregon where they settled down in Gresham. Bekah and Chris have two kiddos in LCMCS. When she isnt working in the kitchen she’s got a side gig as a housecleaner. She loves the outdoors and hiking in the gorge, fly fishing, playing guitar and making art.
