It's time to get the final touches ready for our annual "Boo Ball" Halloween Party! The event kicks off at 4pm on Saturday, October 26th with music & dancing, a carved pumpkin contest, carnival game area and so much more!
The Boo Ball is a super fun family event and a fundraiser for the Community Engagement Committee (CEC). A suggested donation of $20 per family, for those willing and able, helps cover costs and leaves the CEC a bit to fund their community-building work this year. Food is available for purchase. The more the merrier.Click here to learn more!

To Yosemite and beyond!
What an amazing fall day to get outside for an extended period of time and enjoy the joy of movement. More than 800 legs propelled our community to greater fitness at "Runtober" this past Friday!
Everyone is welcome to join us, November 8th, for our first LCMCS Community Dinner (and game night) from 5:00-7:00pm. In partnership with the Oregon Food Bank, this event offers a great opportunity for our community to enjoy a meal together.
Enjoy dinner on us and get to know your community members better while we discuss ideas around future community-building events and upcoming projects. Dinner will be served in the cafeteria. Families are encouraged to bring their favorite (non-electronic) board or card game for “game night” following dinner.

Comparing Apples to Apples
Apples in all their varieties are a marker of the fall season. Their interesting history, health benefits, and taste were recently explored by some of our youngest and oldest students in our community. Need some help choosing an apple at the grocery store? Ready to do your own tasting? Click here to let some of our student's impressions guide you!
